(ret) J.G. Carson has over thirty six years of law enforcement and military experience on both the state and federal levels. He has over 35 years as a SWAT member and SWAT Commander. Carson has conducted over 1,500 tactical operations throughout his career. He has been the lead instructor for numerous SWAT courses as well as Riot Control operations. Carson is a Brazilian jiu jitsu brown belt and a

n instructor/coach with Straight Blast Gym Atlanta/Buford, Ga. Carson has served with the U.S. Army and Georgia National Guard as a Sergeant, as an infantryman, with qualifications as: Airborne, Pathfinder, Air Assault, Woodlands Operations, Raven Drone operator, Military Police and Combat Communications Operator. Carson has conducted operations and assignments all around the world. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Mercer University, is a Georgia POST Instructor, Fi****ms Instructor and Defensive Tactics Instructor, and is a member of the National Tactical Officer’s Association. Carson has worked on and off air as a consultant with Dateline NBC, Snapped, ID Channel, FOX News and Payback TV One. Carson retired from full time law enforcement in January 2021 after a very successful 36 year career.
