"The Blue Dragon, passed down through myths as a guardian deity since ancient times,"

In 2024, it’s known as the ‘Year of the Blue Dragon’ in the Eastern zodiac. The term ‘Blue Dragon’ originates from the combination of ‘Gyeob 갑 (甲)’ and ‘Jin’ in the traditional Eastern calendar. ‘Gyeob 진 (辰)’ signifies the color blue, while ‘Jin’ represents the mighty dragon.

The dragon holds a significant place in Eastern folklore, symbolizing rain and water, vital for agriculture. Historically, our ancestors revered the dragon for a stable water supply, essential for farming. The dragon‘s presence is prevalent in various forms across our culture, often depicted in artworks and place names like ’Yongdu Mountain‘ and ’Yongdu Temple.‘ It’s seen as a symbol of strength and progress.

And I want to mention that my zodiac sign is the Dragon.

Wishing that the positive energy of the Blue Dragon fills the upcoming year, bringing prosperity and success.
