A big THANK YOU to everyone who placed their vote for me during this year's election. Your vote matters. It matters to our community and it matters for the future of all our children. Communities are shaped by the opportunities we lay out for our children and you helped do that by casting your vote. Though we didn't win this election, your vote sends a message to hold our elected officials accountable. More importantly, you've set an example for our kids to follow.
✅ Elections are determined by the people who show up to vote.
✅ Voting is the most powerful tool we have in our democracy.
✅ Your vote is your voice.
✅ This is our community. It belongs to ALL of us.
I will continue to advocate for quality and equitable education for our children regardless of background or socioeconomic status because every single child in our community deserves it.
I also want to send a huge shout out to and for their unwavering support and dedication during this campaign. And to all of you who were there as advisors and mentors every time without fail. I am grateful for you!! 💚💛
