What a great day in the City of Atlanta! 🏛️✨

The Stacey Monts Foundation was honored to visit Atlanta City Hall and witness proclamations recognizing:

🏆 L.E.A.D. Youth Sports Day
💈 Rick’s Barbershop’s 30th Anniversary
🎓 Frederick Douglass High School Class of 1976

We also had the pleasure of speaking with former Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed. It was a wonderful day celebrating community leadership, service, youth, and legacy.

We salute Reverend Alberta McCrory, Mayor of Hobson City, for her leadership, dedication, and continued service to this historic community. It was truly an honor to attend the Founders Day Gala and share in such a beautiful evening filled with history, unity, and celebration.

Thank you, Mayor McCrory, for personally welcoming and escorting us into the gala. We are grateful for the hospitality and proud to support communities and leaders who are making a lasting difference.

Today, on National Nonprofit Day, I am proud to celebrate the mission, growth, and community impact of the Stacey Monts Foundation. 💜

What began from one mother’s pain has grown into a purpose that continues to serve youth, support families, build community partnerships, and keep Stacey’s legacy alive.

This work is not done alone. I am deeply grateful for our board members, volunteers, community partners, donors, sponsors, and every supporter who believes in our mission. Every donation, shared post, partnership, volunteer hour, and encouraging word helps us continue making a difference.

Today, we celebrate every nonprofit organization working behind the scenes to bring hope, resources, and positive change to its community.

Behind the scenes: Before heading to the Hobson City Founders Day Gala in Alabama, I stopped by Walmart to introduce myself to the manager and follow up on the fundraising opportunity I applied for on behalf of the Stacey Monts Foundation.

Even while headed to the gala, the mission continued! I’m not wasting a step or missing an opportunity to build relationships and create more support for the families and youth we serve. 💜

Purpose doesn’t take a day off—and neither do I! 🙌🏽
