Wanted to give an update for everyone who donated. On Saturday we held our first event for this year at the Because One Matters Christmas party for Gwinnett County foster kids. Through your generosity, we were able to give out around 200 brand new sets of legos and each kid was allowed to pick their own. Highlights were a couple of kiddos who had never had a Lego set (including two 16 year old girls) and a couple of kids who were able to get some legos for their younger siblings whom they’d been separated from. Unfortunately we couldn’t get any photos of the kids themselves due to foster care regulations.
We still have one more event coming up on 12/19 with The Block Community Outreach, Inc and we are so excited!
And I am so excited to announce that we have far surpassed our goal for this year! We might even have to drum up another event! 🙂🙌🏼
So to all of you who have made this posssible, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!!!!!!

Would you join us in prayer over the Because One Matters Christmas party this morning?

Lord we thank you for your supernatural provision to make this party happen. We thank you for your ongoing supernatural provision to allow Because One Matters to support these precious kiddos. We thank you for each one of these kids and the plan you have for each one of their lives.
We ask that each one of these kids would experience You this morning. That they would just have a knowing of your love for them and an understanding that you are always with them. Lord I pray that these kiddos can experience a few moments of joy this morning and forget the burdens they carry for a while.
It’s in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for these things. Amen!

Yall our heart is really to glorify God’s name and shine a light for others the way He has done for us through our darkest days. Sure we have a ton of fun celebrating and honoring Wade through this event but even Wade’s heart was to serve the kingdom and bring more folks Home with him someday.
So that’s reallly our goal and prayer above all else, is to let the echo of God’s goodness ring from the mountaintops and be multiplied throughout our community.
