Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing moms of Cub Scout Pack 1534! 💙💛

Today we celebrate the women who guide, encourage, support, and love our Scouts every step of the way.

In Cub Scouting, the term *Akela* represents a leader, guide, and source of wisdom. So often, that role is filled by moms — helping with adventures, cheering from the sidelines, encouraging perseverance, and shaping young boys and girls into confident, caring young people.

Thank you for the countless ways you serve your families and our Pack. Your patience, sacrifice, and love do not go unnoticed.

Pack 1534 is stronger because of you.

🇺🇸 Honoring Those Who Served 🇺🇸

Our Scouts from Pack 1534 will be participating in one of the most meaningful service projects of the year as we help place flags at Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford to honor our veterans ahead of Memorial Day.

This is such a powerful opportunity for our Scouts to learn respect, service, gratitude, and community involvement firsthand.

We’ll begin with the Pledge of Allegiance and Scout Oath & Law, take a group photo near the Buford Veterans Memorial, and then families will work together placing flags on marked graves.

Reminders for Scouts & Families:
✔️ Wear Class A uniform
✔️ Bring a filled water bottle & six essentials
✔️ Parent attendance required
✔️ No pets please
✔️ No restrooms available on-site

Our Cub Scout Bear Den served during “Sack Kids Hunger 2026” at Buford Senior Academy 💙

In just over 30 minutes, they packed 380 sack lunches for children in need.

Working together, they unpacked boxes, assembled meals, and organized everything for delivery.

The best part? Seeing the pride on their faces knowing they helped make someone else’s day a little brighter.

380 lunches. 380 kids helped.
