At the Health and Wellness Event on June 17th from 12-3pm, the CAO Mobile Food Market, sponsored by Highmark BCBS, will provide bags of fresh fruit and vegetables to the first 50 individuals who complete our passport to health wellness by visiting all the vendors at our event.

Hello everyone, it is our pleasure to announce that Workforce Buffalo Downtown Career Center will be present at the Holistic Mens & Womens health and wellness event on June 17th, offering complimentary resume writing services, including evaluation, critique, and creation. What to expect:
Roswell Park and Neighborhood Health’s Mobile Unit and ground team
Roswell Park Mobile Unit: breast (mammograms), lung, and prostate cancer screenings
Community Wellness Works: A1C diabetes testing
On-site enrollment for a diaper distribution program
Distribution of period kits and hygiene kits
Referrals to community-based organizations and healthcare providers
Information on our “From the Womb” program and Community Baby Shower initiatives
Accessing essential baby supplies and hygiene resources
Maternal and family support services in the community
This event will additionally feature community resources, fresh fruits and vegetables, raffles, bus passes, diapers, wellness items, undergarments, and other essential supplies available for community members

What is One Goal Coalition?
OneGoal is a collaboration of local companies and non-profits that have one collective goal, providing informational resource to the community. Starting 3 years ago, this coalition consists of organizations that hold periodic events locally that the community has an interest in. Whether it is a financial empowerment workshop, wellness event, or a holiday giveaway event; One Goal has set out to connect the dots for those who need the information or services most.

One Goal Coalition holds monthly Drop-In Resource Center Hours at The Tabernacle of Praise. During this time you can come in to get information on: Benefits advisement, Resource navigation, Programming Information, Community events. You may have questions on topics like: Parenting, Aging, Housing, Medical, Youth Services, or Community.

You are cordially invited to attend our Passport to Women's and Men's Health & Wellness Community Event, taking place on June 17th at the Delavan Grider Community Center from 12-3pm. This complimentary community event will offer cholesterol level checks, blood pressure monitoring, and Diabetes screenings A1C. To register for Breast, Prostrate, Lung, and Cancer screening services, please contact the number listed on the flyer at 716-845-1300 ext 6916. Roswell Park's Mobile Unit will be present from 9-3pm, providing cancer screening services, while Cas will also offer HIV testing. We look forward to your participation and hope you will take part in our raffles, featuring prizes such as Juicers, Air Fryers, Daily Bus Passes, Hygiene Products, Diapers, and other wellness items.

Our final meeting marks the culmination of an outstanding year. One Goal Coalition has bold plans in store for 2026. We began with a group of over 10 individuals four years ago and have since developed a core team of 6 dedicated board members committed to propelling One Goal forward. We will be sharing more details about our upcoming schedule rollout. If membership interests you, please reach out to us for information on our application process. The 2026 Winter Warming Event is now complete, and I am pleased to have contributed to the community. We witnessed an impressive attendance. A significant number of families in need received support. I hope you enjoy the pictures; preparations for next year are already in progress. God bless
