Apparently, the flu decided to clock in for a shift at Truly Rooted Community Market, and our staff is officially OUT OF OFFICE! 🤒🛌🏾

We’re taking a little time to rest, recover, and get our immune systems back in formation! 💪🏾💚

🚨 WE ARE CLOSED TODAY, BUT WE’LL BE BACK SATURDAY!

🎶 OUTSTANDING…is really the only word for it 🌱

What started as a shared vision turned into 14 weeks of food, fellowship, health, entrepreneurship opportunities and COMMUNITY in the heart of the East side.

Our inaugural season of Masten’s Rooted in the Park Farmer’s Market showed us that when we intentionally bring resources directly into the neighborhood and create space community economics can thrive!

🌱 More than 6,000 pounds of fresh produce sold right in the park
💳 500 purchases using SNAP and Double Up Food Bucks
🎟️ 175 $5 farmers market coupons distributed
🛍️ 50 vendors welcomed throughout the season
✨ 13 youth volunteers engaged in service, entrepreneurship and community building

These numbers only tell part of the story!

This was about more than food access, but economic empowerment and direct access to the things that our community has been historically overlooked for.
