Hive near Tri-Main Center’s cherry flowers provide essential early-season nectar and protein-rich pollen, crucial for boosting honey bee colony populations and building hive strength. In turn, honey bees act as primary pollinators for cherry trees, drastically increasing fruit set and yields by over 90% in many cases. This reciprocal relationship ensures food for bees and better crops for growers

Bees on snowdrops flower at my Mulberry Garden. Early spring flowers, often appearing as early as February or March, are essential for hungry bees emerging from winter. Bees are happy! 😊

I received a call about a large fallen tree with honey bees in it. They are still alive in the tree for 2 years. But I know I can’t remove bees and cut opening wood. Because it’s cold outside. I checked a tree half-broke off on combs in the hole. Then I put leaves in a hole on half-broke for natural insulation and to help bees conserve heat. They must remain in the hive to survive. I believe a strong cluster is characterized by a large population of bees, adequate honey stores, and a healthy queen, all of which are crucial for survival. I will remove bees from a fallen tree this spring. But I hope I can save the bees! My knowledge for a tree hive for bees is a method of keeping bees either in a natural tree hollow and rescuing a fallen tree honey bee.
