A morning of restaurant etiquette training at the Niagara County Correctional Facility. How do you do that inside without taking the dogs out? You bring the breakfast inside. Tim Hortons coffee and Greek breakfast from our friends at Olympic Restaurant on Genesee St.
We had two of the Veterans join us for training with their dogs, and will continue now till graduation day.

Everyone did great, graduation for this 2025-26’ round are October 28th at 11am. Looking forward to handing them over to their Veterans as they have been inside since September 2025.

Next stop, Wyoming State Correctional to see those dogs. See you soon!

Honored to have provided two amazing dogs that will be doing amazing work for the men and women in blue. Piper and Midnight have both been provided to our friends at Erie County Sheriff's Office. Piper will be on the road and Midnight in the correctional facility over watching the officers. As we continue providing Therapy Dogs to law enforcement, these dogs will have much bigger roles and opportunities to provide greater good. This is the 9th Therapy Dog we have provided to law enforcement and in partnership with Hope Rises.

Can never say thank you enough to our amazing friends at Clarence Rotary Club. Their continued love and support helps us provide another needed service dog to a veteran here in Western New York. This is the third service dog they have supported. Thank you Rotary for being a hero. ❤️

What day is it? It’s nail trimming day. Why? It’s about getting them use to being at the groomers, the Veterinarian and everyone else. There is a lot of turnover at this facility because anyone there is only a 6month program. However, the turnover is good for socializing the pups. Only bad thing is that every time someone else is released, we start all over having to train the trainer. In the end, our pups are still doing great.
