AMERICAN FRIENDS OF THE ANTI-IMPERIAL BLOC OF NATIONS TO HOLD CONFERENCE IN CHICAGO

CHICAGO, Il. — American Friends of the Anti-Imperial Bloc of Nations (AF-ABN) will hold a multi-ethnic conference entitled “The End of an Empire.”
The conference will be held on December 7, 2025 at the American Ukrainian Youth Association, 2457 W. Chicago Ave., Chicago, Illinois beginning at 10:00 AM.
Speakers from across the United States and Ukraine, including representatives from various ethnic organizations and entities, will present strategies for the dissolution of the russian federation and formalization of independent nation-states.
Mary Krutiak, Conference Chair stated: “Now is the time to prepare for the collapse of the kremlin terror state and the revival of dozens of oppressed nations imprisoned in the russian federation. They yearn for freedom and self-determination, as russia continues to suffer defeats at the hand of the Ukrainian defenders. Experts will share their vision for the fate of these minorities as the imperialistic russian regime fades into a post-colonial diminished state.”

Аn Important Rendezvous (for the American Friends of ABN)

On April 25, 2025, key representatives of the Circassian, Crimean Tatar and Ukrainian communities in the NY-NJ-CT (tri state) region gathered together with the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, the Honorable Refat Chubarov for a ‘discussion dinner’ at a well regard Turkish restaurant in New York City. Chairman Chubarov began the discussion with a clear statement of the Crimean Tatar position regarding the current Russia-Ukraine War ceasefire talks. To him, Crimea was and had to remain part of Ukraine; only in that manner could the Crimean Tatar ”narod’ survive and thrive. Any attempt at the dismantling of the Ukrainian state (with the permitted annexation of Crimea by Moscow) would threaten a repeat of the genocides that the Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians had suffered in the past. Mr. Ed Youghar, a leading figure in the Circassian community, picked up on the theme of genocide; he went on to shortly elaborate on the Circassian genocide of the 19th century as the first of many examples of Russia’s long standing genocidal colonial policy (where White, or Red, or KGB Blue). He expressed the hope that, as Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars regained all they had lost, they would eventually help the Circassians regain what they had lost. The latter point gave Volodymyr Zaryckyj, head of the Ukrainian American Freedom Foundation and an American Friends of ABN representative, a perfect opening for his words. In his remarks to the assembled, Zaryckyj assured the Circassians the recently renewed ABN (aptly renamed the Anti-Imperial Bloc of Nations) would not forget their cause or the cause of the other nations still trapped in a prison of nations known as the “Russian Federation. The evening ended with a clear agreement by the parties gathered that the ultimate end towards which all should strive was the disintegration of the Russian state as presently constituted.

What We Are Fighting Against
AF-ABN’s mission is defined not just by what we stand for, but by what we oppose:
The Kremlin regime and its campaign of violence, occupation, and domination
The “Russian World” ideology, which serves as a cultural justification for conquest
Political repression, hunger, media blackouts, and torture in occupied territories
The continued existence of the Soviet imperial system in modern form
This Russian imperial system is not limited to any one leader. Even if Putin were to leave office tomorrow, the institutions, ideology, and geopolitical agenda of Russian empire would remain. AF-ABN’s goal is therefore systemic—not merely political.

Global Tour ABN: Washington DC

The President of the Anti-Imperial Block of Nations, Oleh Medunytsya, held a productive meeting with Janusz Bugaysky and Margarita Assenova, senior researchers at The Jamestown Foundation.

During the meeting, the prospects for cooperation and the situation with human rights violations in the territory of the Russian Federation were discussed. It was also agreed to transfer the list of political prisoners of enslaved nations, formed by the Anti-Imperial Block of Nations, for further work with politicians and human rights activists in the United States. Oleh Medunytsya thanked the American partners for their consistent work on the decolonization of Russia.

World Tour ABN; NYC
On 1 April 2025, in New York, at the premises of the Ukrainian Statehood Front, a presentation of the international human rights project “Putin’s Real Prisoners. Political Prisoners of the Enslaved Nations” was held. The event participants had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the thematic exhibition under the same name, the materials of which were presented by the President of the Anti-Imperial Bloc of Nations and leader of the Ukrainian Statehood Front, Oleh Medunytsya.

Oleh Medunytsya also spoke about the progress of the world tour of the ABN human rights project, which, in addition to the USA, has already been presented in Canada, Germany, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and several other European countries. He called on those present to support the ABN’s work to free political prisoners of enslaved nations to the fullest extent possible.

As part of the presentation, representatives of the Oirat-Kalmyk, Buryat, Tatar, and Circassian national liberation movements spoke, emphasizing the importance and relevance of the ABN human rights project.

Today, April 4, the free world celebrates the creation of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization NATO, a defensive alliance of free nations.

With NATO, an international order of peace and cooperation has been sustained; but now with the threat of Russia and the war it wages in Ukraine and against its own ethnic minorities, the role of NATO is clear.
