On October 1, BAND Against Bullying President Jessica Sanna and Vice President Brie Kishel participated in the Don’t Be a Bully Project’s 2026 Virtual Summit, joining others who are committed to preventing bullying behavior and creating safer, more inclusive environments for young people.

Attention Artists!! 📣 YoungArts identifies exceptional young artists, amplifies their potential, and invests in their lifelong creative freedom.

Artists ages 15–18, or grades 10–12, in the U.S. are encouraged to apply in the discipline of their choice. All applications are evaluated by esteemed discipline-specific panels of artists through an adjudication process that includes multiple rounds of review. Award winners are offered a lifetime of artistic support and ongoing connection with an extraordinarily robust network of peers and mentors.

The 2027 YoungArts application closes on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 8 PM ET.
