BAND Against Bullying

BAND Against Bullying BAND seeks to raise community awareness of bullying related issues and challenges through an inter-school arts competition.

Every year, each final act (selected from each school) will perform at the University at Buffalo Center for the Arts. It is an eventful evening, including valuable information on bullying awareness, exceptional talent and collaboration among students, and an opportunity to raise money for the prevention of bullying in schools. Proceeds will benefit each participating school and the continued development of the BAND Against Bullying Program.

The countdown is ON! πŸ“’ We are officially ONE MONTH AWAY from the kickoff of the campaign!

Today, we had the exciting opportunity to tour the Buffalo Sabres walkway just outside of the locker room at KeyBank Center, a reminder of the incredible community spirit that makes Give716 such a powerful event for local nonprofits.

As we gear up for this year’s campaign, we’re looking forward to coming together once again to support our mission and make an even greater impact across Western New York. Every donation helps us continue our work to create a kinder, safer world for our youth!

Mark your calendars and stay tuned for ways you can support BAND Against Bullying during Give716. Together we can make a difference, one act of kindness at a time! β€οΈπŸ’™πŸ’›

πŸŒˆπŸš΄β€β™€οΈ RIDE WITH PRIDE. RIDE FOR A CAUSE. πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈπŸŒˆ

Join us on Friday, June 26, at 6:00pm for a special Pride-Themed Donation Ride at Rise Fitness Studio! This fun, high-energy spin class is free and donation-based, with all proceeds benefiting BAND Against Bullying and our mission to create safer, more inclusive environments for young people.

Why Pride? Because LGBTQ+ youth continue to experience bullying, harassment, and exclusion at disproportionately high rates. Supporting Pride means supporting acceptance, belonging, and dignity for allβ€”values that are at the heart of BAND Against Bullying's work in schools and communities.

There are 33 bikes available, and if we fill every seat, we can make a meaningful impact!

πŸ’œ All fitness levels welcome
πŸ’œ Open to the public
πŸ’œ Free to attend; donations encouraged
πŸ’œ Ride with purpose and make a difference

Grab a bike, bring a friend, and let's pedal toward a more inclusive world!

Ryan Perdz captivated the audience with his powerful ballads at Revolver Records in the Elmwood Village yesterday! Seeing former BAND participants continue to grow and share their gifts is such an incredible reminder of the impact music can have. πŸ’—πŸŽΆ
