Yesterday, Child and Family Services Haven House hosted our annual Shine the Light press conference in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Guest speakers included community leaders, domestic violence advocates and elected officials who shared how domestic violence services impact our community and highlighted the urgent need for more resources for survivors.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a beautiful evening of raising awareness and shining a light on hope, healing and strength.

While Indigenous history includes generations of injustice, land dispossession, violence and cultural eradication, it is also a story of survival, strength and deep connection to community and the land.

Today, and every day, we celebrate Indigenous Peoples and honor the lasting impact they have had, and continue to have, on communities across the U.S.
