Art Moves Me participated in the Red Thread Project initiative for the World Parkinson Congress in Phoenix this week, along with Julie Andrews who sent a filmed message saying “Count me in as a red thread”! We join her in building a global community for all people impacted by Parkinson’s disease. Burchfield Penney Art Center

Art Moves Me Parkinson's Program at Burchfield Penney Art Center, supported by a Community Grant from the Parkinson's Foundation , founded by visionary dance artist Cynthia Pegado. Visual art becomes a prompt for movement, offering "layer upon layer" of cognitive and physical challenges. Her award-winning approach is one of a few select programs globally, to provide tailored art-focused movement in a museum setting.
