The Countdown has begun! We are one week away from the Event! That being said i would like to start showcasing our sponsors, which we could not be successful with out. Our first showcase is Leaf, Stone & Steel!

Leaf, stone and steel is a plant and artisan shop w/over 5000 sq ft of retail space located on Grand Island. They specialize in rare, common and tropical houseplants, as well as small and large scale custom moss wall installations. This unique shop focuses on local, national and global artists, while also having the ability to craft in house, ethically sourced, exotic wood tables large and small. They can also fabricate any size scale metal projects from table legs to large scale art bespoke pieces. Truly a renaissance retail experience, there is something for everyone!

Let me tell you first hand, this store is absolutely incredible, Jason took me on a personal walk through and i was blown away. I ended up leaving there with multiple items as well as ordering a custom wood poker table! I can’t wait to see the final product! This year’s event carries the same mission as the past four: to support a family in need — one facing something no child or parent ever should.

This time, it’s even more personal. The family we’ve chosen has been close friends for many years. I’ve watched her grow from an 18-year-old just enjoying summer boat days with my dad and me, into a loving wife and mother of two. Now, she and her family are facing the unimaginable — their young son’s battle with cancer.

The support behind Paving Away Cancer over the last four years has been nothing short of amazing. I hope we can come together once again to make a difference for this incredible family. 💛

I can’t think of any better way to say this besides WE DID IT!

After a Very Sucessful Paving Away Cancer Christmas Gala, tonight we, alongside Hope Rises were able to give a family who not only needed but deserved alittle light to shine down on them! Their story is truly something you wish and pray you never have to hear, but they sit back and reference and consider themselves lucky in some instances. That’s why i couldn’t have been more proud and honored to be able to gift them the Proceeds from the 4th Annual Paving Away Cancer In Memory of Michael Vaccaro Sr Christmas Gala! This year with the help of everyone involved we donated $85,100.00, which in return will provide this family with 5 years of Mortgage Payments and Groceries for that time Period.

There are so many that truly made this possible, it is because all of you who Sponsored, Donated, attended and believed in the cause, that we are able to make these types of news lines happen. The amount of support that believes in my efforts is truly astounding. Once again i can’t thank everyone enough
