🏈 From Canisius to the Buffalo Bills! 💙❤️

With the Bills’ bye week here, we’re shining a spotlight on two Wehle Business School alumni making an impact behind the scenes of our hometown team!

👏 Preston Teague (’05) earned his Master’s in Sport Administration from Canisius and now serves as Senior Director of Youth Football and Programs for the Buffalo Bills.

👏 Bridget Kane (’21) graduated from Canisius with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and serves as Manager of Stadium and Events for the Bills.

From developing youth football programs to helping bring stadium events to life, Preston and Bridget showcase the many career paths available in the business of sports.

We’re proud to see our Griffins putting their skills to work with the Bills, even when the team isn’t taking the field! 💛💙

🏈 Even during the Bills’ bye week, there’s plenty of work happening off the field! 💙❤️

Today, we’re recognizing two Wehle School of Business alumni who help drive the business side of Buffalo Bills football.

👏 Katy Crawley (’10) earned her Master of Sport Administration from Canisius University and now serves as Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships and Marketing for the Bills.

👏 Chris Holland (’00) also earned his Master of Sport Administration at Canisius and serves as the Bills’ Director of Ticket Sales.

From creating partnerships with brands to connecting fans with the game-day experience, Katy and Chris show how a Canisius education can lead to impactful careers in professional sports.

We’re proud to see our Griffins helping make the Bills organization successful, both on and off the field! 💛💙

🏈 The Bills may have a bye week, but the work behind the scenes never stops! 💙❤️

This week’s Wehle School of Business Alumni Spotlight features two Canisius University graduates helping keep the Buffalo Bills ready for game day!

Spencer Haws earned his Master of Sport Administration in 2010 and Master of Business Administration in 2012. Today, he serves as the Assistant Director of Equipment Operations for the Buffalo Bills.

Austin Skobel earned his Master of Sport Administration in 2015 and works as an Equipment Assistant for the Bills.

From preparing equipment to making sure players have what they need each week, their work is an important part of what happens behind the scenes. We’re proud to see Canisius alumni making an impact with our hometown team!

🎉 Wehle Business School Professor Spotlight: Delaware Arif! 💙💛

Congratulations to Delaware Arif on being nominated for the Buffalo Broadcasters Association’s Educator of the Year Award!

Arif serves as an Associate Professor of Multimedia Journalism and Director of Canisius University’s Journalism Program, where he helps prepare the next generation of media professionals.

He is being recognized alongside five other local university educators for his impact on students and the future of the Western New York media industry.

Winners will be announced at today’s Buffalo Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame induction ceremony. We’re proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition and the impact Arif continues to make at Canisius and throughout the community. Best of luck! 💙💛

Congratulations to Melissa Prohaska ’04 on being named one of the Worcester Business Journal’s 2026 Outstanding Women in Business!

Melissa earned her B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Canisius University and has built an impressive career in the banking industry. She currently serves as Executive Vice President and Retail Marketing Manager at M&T Bank, where she brings her leadership and expertise to the financial services industry.

This recognition celebrates Melissa’s professional accomplishments and the impact she continues to make in her field. We are proud to see our Canisius alumni earning well-deserved recognition and representing the Wehle School of Business in their careers.

Wehle Business School Alumni Spotlight! 💙💛

Congratulations to Joseph Farrell and Eleanor Tucker on their new positions!

Joseph Farrell earned his B.A. in Accounting in 2019 and his MBA in Accounting in 2020. During his time at Canisius, he was also a member of the Men’s Soccer team. He has recently started a new position as an Associate at Paramax Corporation.

Eleanor Tucker earned her B.S. in International Business and Management in 2021 before returning to Canisius to complete her MBA in Business Administration and Leadership Development in 2024. She has recently started a new position as an Employee Engagement Specialist at Moog Inc.

We’re proud to celebrate our Golden Griffins as they continue to grow professionally and take the next steps in their careers. Congratulations to Joseph and Eleanor on these exciting new opportunities!

Congratulations to Andrew Russo and Katie Castiglia on their new positions!

Andrew Russo, a Canisius alumnus who earned his B.S. in Finance in 2011 and his master’s degree in Sport Administration in 2014, now serves as an Enterprise Account Executive in Tech, Media & Telecommunications at Salesforce.

Katie Castiglia ’25 earned her B.S. in Psychology from Canisius University and has started a new role as a Human Resources Coordinator at Sisters of Charity Hospital.

We’re proud to celebrate our Golden Griffins as they continue to grow professionally and make an impact in their respective fields. Congratulations, Andrew and Katie, and best of luck in your new roles!

Meet Mekhi Edwards, a Canisius University alumnus who is continuing his education while making an impact in the creative and marketing industries!

After graduating in 2025 with a degree in Marketing & Marketing Management, Mekhi is now pursuing his MBA at Canisius while serving as Creative Director for Buffalo Fashion Week. He also continues to grow his photography, marketing, and digital content work through Capture ME Visuals and other creative collaborations.

Mekhi’s journey showcases how students can combine their business education with creativity, leadership, and hands-on experience to bring their ideas to life. We’re excited to see all that he continues to accomplish!

We’re excited to spotlight Trevor Folsom ’22, a proud Canisius University alumnus who is making strides in the financial industry!

Trevor earned his B.S. in Accounting & Finance from Canisius University and currently works as an Investment Banking Analyst at Canaccord Genuity. During his time at Canisius, Trevor was also a member and captain of the Golden Griffins Men’s Lacrosse team, demonstrating leadership both on and off the field.

We’re proud to see Trevor building his career and putting his education to work in the financial industry. Congratulations on your continued success, Trevor! Once a Griff, always a Griff!
