Hey, it's National Egg Day! Scrambled, fried, or sunny side up this is a power food that won't go away for quite awhile. While eggs are full of nutrients there still rages a debate on whether or not its unhealthy to have too many. Nevertheless, as a great source of protein and Vitamin D it's a great way to satisfy your stomach. In 2024, Minnesota alone produced over 2 billion eggs at a value of around $378 million dollars! So today, see if you can pop an egg in your meals at some point, or throw a little extra feed out to the chickens on the farm. Enjoy🐔🥚

On Sunday, our Outreach Coordinator Geoff, had a great time speaking on the "World of Aviation" broadcast with Al Malmberg. The topic of conversation focused on the Hinck brothers and their glider school in Monticello during WW2. Clarence and Elmer Hinck ran this school in 1942 with guts and a wonderful relationship with the city residents.

Click the link in the comments to listen in on Geoff's conversation that really only touched a little bit on this big story.
