The Allentown Association mourns the loss of Dana Tillou, a long time Allentown resident and business owner and extends condolences to his wife Catherine and their family. He passed away recently at the age of 89.

Born in Buffalo, Dana was the son of a well-known artist and inherited a love of and appreciation for art in all forms. For over 60 years he operated Dana TIllou Fine Arts. For many of those years, the business was located in the magnificent house on Franklin Street at the corner of Virginia, where he also made his home with his wife. Dana had a deep knowledge of antiques and artworks and was sought out by individuals and large corporations alike as a consultant to help grow private collections. Dana was kind and generous both with his time and his resources. His presence in Western New York will be greatly missed.
