Does the site look…empty to you? Just 2 months ago this very spot was packed to the gills with finished compost. And now it’s (almost) gone! The last bit of finished compost you see in the photo is reserved, which means we’re all sold out and Spring Compost Sales Season is a wrap. 

We think this was the best season yet - we sold more compost than ever before, sold out sooner than ever before, and feel that the whole process was smoother than it has ever been. It’s been a team effort, so thank you to the 750+ growers feeding their soil with FPC compost this season, and of course to our small and mighty crew of compost slingers. Here’s to a bountiful season ahead 🌱

Introducing... the new municipal composting program in the Village of Orchard Park!

After first discussing this idea with the folks in the Village back in 2024, funding has finally been secured and we are gearing up for an official launch on June 15! This program is free to residents of the Village and will start off as a single drop off location at the Department of Public Works. But just as with all our programs, we've got high hopes for growth and expansion. You can pre-register today: www.farmerpirates.com/orchard-park

Did you know that Tops Friendly Markets has been composting with us since 2021?? And just in the last year, they've saved nearly 500,000 pounds of food scraps from going to the landfill!
