Maddi, the name Marie Cane's precious grandchildren use for her, derives from
the name Marie used with love and enthusiasm for her friends or
“Goumaddi's" (correct spelling in Italian is Coumade). In her memory, the Maddi Movment encourages all who knew and loved her
to carry on her legacy by doing something nice for someone else. Marie was
known for her thoughtfulness that usually came in the f

orm of her famous white Italian cookies and chicken
cutlets She loved Tim Horton's coffee and would
often buy the person's coffee behind her in the drive-thru.
