🎬🎥🍿🎞Start the hype before our opening weekend by checking out a brand new documentary about the few surviving trolley parks dating back to the late 19th century. 'Trolley Park: Great Lakes' looks back on the rich history of both Waldameer & Water World and our friends at Seabreeze Amusement Park in Rochester, NY.

You can check it out at The Tom Ridge Environmental Center's preview screenings on April 30, 2026, at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. in the Big Green Screen theater (seating is limited) or by visiting the link in the comments to view local broadcast schedules!

Happy New Year! Just a reminder that WNYCC's HolidayFest is coming up. Are you ready for one last party of the season before winter sets in? Registration deadline is Friday January 2nd. All members and their guests are welcome to join us on Saturday, January 10, 2026, 5:45 PM, dinner served at 6:00 PM, at Ilio DiPaolo's, Blasdell, NY, on the southwest side of Buffalo. Registration is available either online or by mail. Delicious food is served family style, so you won't go hungry! Only $40 per person. The weather forecast for Saturday is looking good for a January thaw! We're available for any last-minute questions. WNYCC always tries to be as accommodating as possible. Sad to report that Anne Wilke, longtime club member and wife of WNYCC co-founder Dan Wilke, passed away suddenly last Friday 9/22/2023. Our hearts ache for Dan's loss of his beloved wife. We will miss her friendship and laughter.

Our event is called Flying High, but the coaster train was Flying By! After the WNYCC and GOCC (Great Ohio Coaster Club) picnic we were treated to a behind-the-station tour with opportunities for some great photos. Park President Steve Gorman always goes the extra mile for us!

After morning ERT on The Comet, members of WNYCC and GOCC (Great Ohio Coaster Club ) are off for an informal takeover ride on the L. Ruth Express. Thank you Waldameer Park for morning coffee and donuts. Looking forward to that delicious picnic at 1:00 and nighttime ERT on the Ravine Flyer II.

It's not too late to register for "Flying High with a Silver Comet!" The event is scheduled for next weekend, August 26 and 27, at Waldameer Park and Water World on Saturday and Niagara Amusement Park and Splash World on Sunday. This event is co-hosted by GOCC - Great Ohio Coaster Club! Registration includes all-day ride passes, food, photo walkback under Ravine Flyer II station and infield behind station, plus ERT on Comet, Ravine Flyer II & Silver Comet! As a reminder the deadline for registrations for this year's WNYCC Coasterfest(tm) at Waldameer Park and Niagara Amusement most be either be postmarked by Wednesday May 17th for mailed registrations or completed by Saturday May 20th for online registrations.
