Citizens' Alliance, Inc. We collaborate with other not for profit organizations whose values align with ours to help educate and empower the community and realize our mission.

We provide information and services, as well as housing rehabilitation grants which support decent affordable housing for low to moderate income families in the Masten District in the city of Buffalo Delavan Grider area. CAI aids businesses with renovation of commercial and mixed-use properties along Jefferson Avenue to continue our efforts to bring jobs and economic development back to what was once a thriving neighborhood. CAI leads initiatives such as the East Side Commercial District Program for Jefferson Avenue to rehabilitate commercial corridors and expand economic opportunities.

Belmont Housing Resources for WNY, Inc. was proud to attend today’s City of Buffalo press conference at the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning announcing Buffalo Ready Homes!

This partnership between the City of Buffalo and the UB Regional Institute will develop pre-approved home designs that fit Buffalo’s neighborhoods and zoning requirements, helping make it easier to build new homes on vacant and underutilized lots.

We support removing the barriers and lengthy processes that too often stand in the way of turning Buffalo’s vacant lots into homes. Creating a clearer path to construction is an important step toward expanding affordable housing and homeownership opportunities.

We look forward to working alongside the City, UB, and community partners to help turn this vision into affordable homes and stronger neighborhoods. 💚

Registration is open for Erie County residents for a free paint and battery recycling collection event on Saturday October 17 in the Town of Hamburg.
PAINT: Accepting house paint, stains and varnishes, from residents and businesses, no quantity limits. NOT Accepting aerosols, thinners, solvents, driveway sealer or adhesives.
BATTERIES accepted from residents only: loose alkaline and rechargeable batteries, laptop and battery packs such as tool batteries. NOT Accepting car batteries or other lead -acid batteries.
