This time last year, we were honored to be one of 30 organizations selected for funding through the Buffalo Together Fund. This transformational support allowed us to partner with Providence Farm Collective to bring fresh, locally grown produce to our food pantry guests each week from July through November 2025.

Because of this grant, our guests didn’t just receive food, they had consistent access to healthy, fresh produce while we also supported another incredible organization doing meaningful work in our community. It’s a powerful reminder that when we work together, we can make an even greater impact.

Thank you to the Buffalo Together Fund Committee for believing in our mission and helping us provide nourishing food to our neighbors in need.

Red shirts to the rescue, AGAIN! 🫶💓
Yesterday, we had the privilege of welcoming this group of lovely volunteers to help us prepare for another busy week ahead.
But they didn't just volunteer, they also delivered a donation of 205 pounds of assorted hygiene items!

We are so grateful for a wonderful financial donation to our Pet Pantry! Because of this donation, we were able to purchase bird food, cat treats and dog treats to re-stock our shelves! 🐕🦜🐈‍⬛

Another 69 pairs of sneakers went out to local students in need this morning! We can't wait to tell you what school these sneakers went to and share some pictures of the excited children, stay tuned!!! 👟👟👟

We were very happy to welcome Plymouth Crossroads on site this week to chat with our guests.
Plymouth Crossroads mission is to provide residential supports for runaway and homeless males ages 16-20, in an atmosphere supporting the dignity, respect, and self-sufficiency of each youth.

Last week was WNY Community Impact Week at M&T Bank! 💚
We had a wonderful group of volunteers help us last Monday, but M&T Bank wasn't done yet! This Monday they delivered a donation of non-perishable food, weighing just under 390 pounds‼️

We continue to be impressed by the commitment you have to our community!

Yesterday was a long day of heavy lifting! We received, sorted & stocked 2,345 pounds of food throughout the day. 1,166 pounds came from community donations! We couldn't have done it without these two amazing volunteers from Independent Health!!!

Did you know that our Pet Pantry is available for any community member in need?

Today, we want to take a moment to highlight the partner who has supported us since day one, WNY Food 4 Paws!!!

WNY Food 4 Paws is a non-profit created to support food pantries that provide pet food to families experiencing financial hardships. They work directly with manufacturers, pet supply stores, grocery stores and community partners to acquire pet food and other pet supplies and redistribute to established food pantries and pet food pantries in Erie, Niagara, and Chautauqua Counties.

Thank you, WNY Food 4 Paws, we are only able to provide this much needed service thanks to our wonderful program partners & we simply couldn't do this without you!
