The Center for Self Advocacy had a wonderful time at the SANYS 40th Anniversary Statewide Conference!

We were grateful to be part of this special celebration and connect with self-advocates from across New York State. Thank you to SANYS for bringing everyone together and for 40 years of promoting self-advocacy, inclusion, and community. We are proud to have been part of this milestone!

!!Important Office Availability Update!!

The Center for Self Advocacy team will be attending the Statewide Conference in Albany, New York, Thursday until Saturday!

While our staff is attending the conference, we will be unavailable to answer phone calls or respond to emails.

Regular office hours and services will resume on Monday, October 19, at 9:00 AM.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as our team takes this opportunity to engage in professional development, collaboration, and advocacy efforts alongside others from across New York State.

This study is looking for adults with a permanent mobility impairment (e.g., using a wheelchair, walker, or cane) who have experienced the 2022 snowstorm in Erie County to conduct a 90-minute Zoom focus group interview with a small group of others who also have mobility limitations and have experienced the same extreme weather event. This interview is conducted completely online and remotely.
