Please be advised that all three Great Falls Council Service Centers in Buffalo, Elmira, and Oakfield will be closed TODAY (Wednesday, September 23, 2026). Our council staff will be attending a Staff Service Day and will return to normal operations on Thursday, September 24.

The Scout Shops in Oakfield and Elmira will also be closed for the day. However, the Buffalo Scout Shop will remain open during its regular business hours to assist you with uniforms, advancement items, Scouting supplies, and other purchases.

Please take a few minutes today to review your unit’s BeAScout pin and make sure your meeting location, meeting time, contact information, and other details are accurate and up to date. For a family searching for Scouting, an outdated pin or missing information could be the difference between reaching out to your unit or moving on to another opportunity.

Camp Scouthaven is an officially National Accredited Scouts BSA Camp! Way to go Scouthaven team!

🚨It’s official. Camp Scouthaven is a Nationally Accredited Scouting America Scouts BSA Camp!

The assessment team came by today and was blown away by our beautiful facilities, killer program, and our absolutely AMAZING staff. A huge THANK YOU to the team for their time, insight, and glowing feedback as we continue to deliver a world class camping program for our youth.

We are officially accredited, and we can’t wait to see you all at camp! ⛺️☀️

What a great day with a bunch of great people!

The tenth annual Confer Classic golf tournament and raffle was held this past Wednesday. It was a huge success. HUGE.

The event created profits of $29,100, which was earmarked for supplies to outfit the 3 camps of Great Falls Council, Scouting America -- Camp Scouthaven, Camp Sam Wood, and Camp Gorton.
