Scouts from across Pennsylvania are coming together in a special flag-raising initiative in partnership with the Tioga County Sheriff’s Department to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary 🇺🇸

On Monday, one group proudly took part in the ceremony in Wellsboro, with the community-service event held outside the Tioga County Courthouse.

A meaningful way to honor our nation’s history while giving back to the community!

Congratulations Levi!

Happy Spring!🌼 Thursday was a beautiful day for me to check out what Levi Root has been up to and honor him with a citation from the House of Representatives. Levi recently achieved the ranking of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Scouting America. 🥇🦅 I met Levi at the Saint Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Wellsboro to see his amazing clean-up work - he cleaned and repaired headstones, installed park benches, and even added new gravel to the road! ⚒I love how Levi saw a need, and he filled it. We have some great kids in our community! Always a pleasure to recognize kids who go above and beyond! Please join me in offering congratulations to Levi in his commitment to the Eagle Scouts and his work in the community!
