Join Western New York and Finger Lakes Clean Energy Hub partners for a virtual session exploring energy efficiency incentives available to faith leaders and faith communities. Incentives from National Grid and NYSEG/RG&E will be highlighted with insights from program experts.

Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how these incentives work, what types of upgrades are eligible, and how to begin the process. Attendees will hear directly from a faith leader peer who has successfully navigated the process taking advantage of incentive programs with Hub assistance.

Many of the incentives that will be discussed are also available to other nonprofit organizations, making this webinar valuable for a broad range of community leaders seeking to lower costs and become more energy efficient.

We hope you can join us for this month’s Community Meeting, our regular convening of PUSH members, community partners, PUSH staff, and new friends. Every meeting begins with dinner, so make sure to register today!

At this month’s PUSH Buffalo Community meeting, we’ll be discussing:

The exciting new Climate and Community Homes (CCH) home-ownership project – a first for PUSH! – that will include gorgeous interior design features, plus more groundbreaking sustainability standards such as those found in our West Side Homes development project, School 77, and other PUSH properties. CCH is a game-changer for our community and we can’t wait to share with you.

Plus hear from our campaign organizers about their work to protect meaningful, landmark climate protections for residents all over New York State.

We’ll also share dinner together and receive other updates.

Thank you to Senator April N.M. Baskin and 28 legislators for speaking truth about the NYS Climate Law to Governor Kathy Hochul, saying they “categorically oppose any effort to roll back New York’s nation leading climate law” and urging Hochul to “stand strong in the face of misinformation.”

Join us for a press conference 3/6 at 11 a.m. at Sustainability Workforce Training Center (300 Hampshire St.) to hear from local organizers and leaders.

💚 Local landmark alert!💚 The Centennial African A.M.E. Zion Church at 125–127 Doat Street is now an official local landmark as of 02/17/2026 — a major celebration for East Side history. Built in 1911, this Gothic Revival masterpiece features a commanding square bell tower, a pointed‑arch entrance with decorative tracery, and luminous stained‑glass windows that define its sanctuary. A remarkable piece of Buffalo’s architectural and cultural heritage, now protected for generations to come.

We’d like to give a big shout out to Reverend Bufford for her hard work and dedication to this beautiful church. 💕

Ps. Are you part of a church that needs funding for repairs? Being an official historic local landmark means your church can access grant funding for repairs. Please reach out to [email protected] for more details.
