You're Invited: From Appetizers to Applications to learn about NYSERDA’s AMP Up for multifamily buildings in Western New York
Are you a 5+ unit building owner or property manager looking to improve your properties' energy performance and lower costs for you and your residents?

The PUSH family extends our deepest condolences and support to the family of Reggie Alls, a former PUSH Hiring Hall employee who sadly passed away last week. Reggie worked at our 16 Winter Street project and participant in the Center for Employment Opportunities' transitional jobs program for formerly incarcerated folks. He worked with us on several property development projects, including 16 Winter Street, 500 Seneca St., the Phoenix Brewery, and Montane Solar's big Buffalo Public Schools rooftop solar project. He was a beautiful person and will be remembered fondly. Please consider a contribution to this GoFundMe to benefit Reggie's partner Jackie and their five children during this difficult chapter. Join Western New York and Finger Lakes Clean Energy Hub partners for a virtual session exploring energy efficiency incentives available to faith leaders and faith communities. Incentives from National Grid and NYSEG/RG&E will be highlighted with insights from program experts.

Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how these incentives work, what types of upgrades are eligible, and how to begin the process. Attendees will hear directly from a faith leader peer who has successfully navigated the process taking advantage of incentive programs with Hub assistance.

Many of the incentives that will be discussed are also available to other nonprofit organizations, making this webinar valuable for a broad range of community leaders seeking to lower costs and become more energy efficient.

At this month’s PUSH Buffalo Community meeting, we’ll be discussing:

The exciting new Climate and Community Homes (CCH) home-ownership project – a first for PUSH! – that will include gorgeous interior design features, plus more groundbreaking sustainability standards such as those found in our West Side Homes development project, School 77, and other PUSH properties. CCH is a game-changer for our community and we can’t wait to share with you.

Plus hear from our campaign organizers about their work to protect meaningful, landmark climate protections for residents all over New York State.

Thank you to Senator April N.M. Baskin and 28 legislators for speaking truth about the NYS Climate Law to Governor Kathy Hochul, saying they “categorically oppose any effort to roll back New York’s nation leading climate law” and urging Hochul to “stand strong in the face of misinformation.”
