Wonderful news!

NYDHA is thrilled that the legislation to enable dental hygienists to administer block anesthesia, through state certification, has passed both the NYS Assembly and Senate. We appreciate the bill sponsors, Assembly Member Amy Paulin and Senator Pete Harckham. Next steps: The bill goes to the Governor for signature and State Education Commissioner regulations are developed. The bill takes effect one year after it becomes law (after signing). We’ll provide updates along the way.

Can you believe SHRED DAY is almost here? Our members anxiously await this event every year! Be sure to note the day and times when you can drop off your files to be shredded. X-Rays are also accepted, but MUST be separated from the paper files.

The Erie County Dental Society would like to show their appreciation for all Eighth District Dental Society members by hosting an Appreciation Picnic BBQ & Pool Party!

Children, significant others, spouses, grandparents and guests of the Eighth District Dental Society are also welcome. The pool will be open! A bubble machine will be on site, and there will be games for the kids in attendance!
