So what does one do after a great visit with cowboy cook Kent Rollins and his wife Shannon? Why hurry back to the farm and spot spray thistle and poison sumac. Have to get the thistle before it goes to seed. I was a little late last year so these are left overs. Couple of real healthy buggers too. Se verse storms in the am so have to take advantage of the total sunshine today.

We use our RTV Sidekick on and off the farm including assisting with controlled burns. To keep in communication with the team, I installed a commercial GMRS radio which is a common radio for both landowners and various teams, UTVs and hunters. My shop assistant made sure the mounting and wire placement was good. I used another set of the tube clamps to mount the radio on. No drilling.

It's sad news to announce that one of my dear friends and supporters Jay & Laurie Anderson were killed in a traffic accident in Arizona while visiting their son Kevin. Our prayers go out to Kevin and his extended family. 🙏🙏🙏

Here is the official statement from a family spokesperson:
Jay and Laurie Anderson, died in a car accident in Arizona November 19th in Arizona.

Survived by Kevin Anderson, Chris Anderson, Lindsey Heddon and Brian Gruber and their families. Funeral services on December 13th at Whittier Area community church 8100 Colima rd. Whittier Ca 90605 at 10:00 am. Burial at Rose Hills Cemetery at noon on the same day.🙏🙏🙏

If you hadn't heard what Calif. Gov. Gavin Newsome just did to Hunter Education, Youth Shooting Sports, Youth Sports Fairs, 4H and Boy Scout Youth Camps, you need to read this.

Chuck Michel & Associates with the Calif. Rifle & Pistol Association (CRPA) will file an injunction to try to stop this illegal executive action.
