This , we reflected on what it truly means to be a “steward.” Indigenous cultures have taught us that the Earth is not just a resource to use, but a relative to care for.

When we plant trees, clean up our blocks, and restore our local parks, we are participating in a long legacy of community-led caretaking of OUR home. Today, we honor Indigenous leadership in the global fight for environmental justice.

💪Join us for the upcoming citywide clean-up!

‼️Tomorrow is our final Stewardship Saturday of the season, and we’re throwing a community workday party from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM! 🥳🎉

• 🎶 Good music to keep the vibes high.

• 🍩 Great snacks and drinks to keep us fueled.

• 🛠️ All the tools & tips you need (absolutely no experience required!).

Just 2 hours of your time will make a massive difference for our neighborhood as we team up to love on the Bailey-Dartmouth Memorial Garden.

This space is a beautiful living tribute to Shaquanna Terice Jackson, and there’s no better way to honor her memory than by bringing the neighborhood together to make it shine.

See you tomorrow morning! 🌻💚🤸‍♀️
