We are incredibly inspired by Mrs. Arlene Wyatt! For decades she has been a pillar of the community. We were honored with the many gems she dropped for us at our Bailey-Dartmonth Garden OPEN!

Mother to Councilmemer Rasheed Wyatt, she has blazed the trail for community organizers and land stewards across the region. She is no stranger to the hard truths that plague the City of Buffalo. As an organization we are committed to catching the baton that our neighborhood elders are passing on to us! ✊🏾🏡🌳🌱🌻

It's a bittersweet last week of Junior Bision programing for BPS CS53 and Drew Science 59.

They planted hot peppers, and onions, introduced the seed library at CS53 Community Garden and used their nature journals and a book from the new book library to inspire them to create their own community gardens!!! 👨🏾‍🌾👩🏾‍🌾🥬🌱🌻🏡

We are so excited to lead our Junior Bision program at II. We have an exciting series of outdoor, environmental, and agricultural activities for the students!

We are excited to work with Buffalo Science II charter school. Over the course of the Spring we have been growing seedlings in the indoor grow basement space.

But, most excitingly we will be leading a Summer Junior Bision program with their students around urban agriculture, environmental science, outdoor learning environmental justice, community redevelopment. Teaching necessary skills and providing abundant space for young minds to express themselves! 👨🏾‍🔬🔭🌱🌻🌍🚀
