This past Stewardship Saturday we went into hyperdrive, transplanting seedlings provided by , weeding the raised beds, setting up a new rain barrel, and completely transforming our west In-ground Bed with the most beautiful perennials we shopped for at .

CS53 Community Garden and Outdoor Learning Lab on Winslow Ave is moving closer in closer to being a fully realized community asset on the Eastside of Buffalo!!! ✊🏾🌻🏡🌹🌺🪻

Join East Side Stewards this Saturday for our Stewardship Saturday! We will be transplanting perennials for a pollinator haven, filling up our rain barrels, planning youth sensory pods, transplanting vegetable seedlings, and jamming out! Snacks, refreshments and tools provided.

The young ladies from Drew Science 59 showed up as phenomenal Junior Bisons today. Their energy, curiosity, and care for the land made this session something special.

Together, we sowed seeds in trays, learned what plants need to thrive, and sampled leaves and flowers to encourage creativity and critical thinking for our local ecosystems. We hope more partners will join us in supporting youth programming throughout the year.
