Feeding In The Midst was never built because everything was easy. It was built because people needed us.

For almost a decade, we’ve shown up however we could — borrowed spaces, donated supplies, volunteers giving what they had, and somehow making it work.

This post is a reminder that community work has seasons.

Right now we’re in a season where we’re rebuilding, rethinking, and asking for support in ways we haven’t before. We are in a season of growth.

If you’ve volunteered, donated, shared a post, encouraged us, partnered with us, or simply believed in what we’re doing — thank you.

And if you’ve been watching from the sidelines wondering if your help matters:

The way time has flown… wow. 💛

As we prepare to celebrate 10 years of Feeding In The Midst, I can honestly say I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.

If I said I always knew exactly how we were going to fund this, make it happen, or how many families we’d be able to impact each year—I’d be lying. But every year I told my wife the same thing: we’ll make a way, and God will figure it out.

And somehow… He always did.

To our original supporters and every new supporter who joined along the way—thank you for believing in us, showing up, and helping us continue this work year after year.

This celebration belongs to all of us.

We hope you’ll join us for a night of reflection, community, and looking ahead to what’s next.

Each month, they select an organization to raise donations for, and we are truly honored to have been chosen. Your kindness and willingness to support our mission means more than words can express.

Because of support like this, we’re able to continue serving families and individuals throughout our community.

Thank you again for believing in what we do and helping us make a difference right here in Buffalo. 🫶

Right now, a lot of families are carrying more than people realize.

Rent is high. Groceries are higher. Childcare, gas, bills, and everyday life are stretching people thin. Many are working hard every single day and still trying to figure out how to make it all come together.
Mentally, emotionally, and financially… life has been heavy for so many in our community.

That’s why kindness matters right now.
Patience matters.
Community matters.

At Feeding In The Midst, we see firsthand that hunger doesn’t always “look” the way people expect it to. Sometimes it’s the parent skipping meals so their child can eat. Sometimes it’s someone silently struggling while trying to hold everything together.

So today, give people grace. Check on one another. Support where you can.

And if you’re struggling — please know you are not alone. 💛

We’re proud to announce a new partnership between Feeding in the Midst and Tyler Hill — a fighter who’s stepping into the ring for more than just a win.

Tyler is committing to donating his fight ticket proceeds to help us combat childhood hunger right here in Buffalo.

But this is bigger than one fight. Together, we’re building something deliberate, sustainable, and impactful—using his platform to bring awareness to the reality that too many children in our community don’t know where their next meal is coming from.
