As we approach the end of Women’s History Month, we would like to highlight and celebrate Dr. Tiffany Cole, PhD, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, PCCN, MEDSURG-BC
As a Black woman nurse educator, having my abstract accepted for a poster presentation by a national nursing organization during Women’s Month is both an honor and a powerful affirmation of purpose. It represents more than academic achievement it reflects the resilience, excellence, and contributions of Black women who have historically been underrepresented in nursing scholarship and leadership. This recognition amplifies my voice and the voices of those I serve, highlighting the importance of diversity, equity, and culturally responsive education in nursing.
During Women’s Month, this milestone carries deeper meaning. It stands as a tribute to the legacy of Black women in healthcare who paved the way despite barriers, and it reinforces my responsibility to continue advancing the profession through education, mentorship, and advocacy. Being selected affirms that my work matters, that representation matters, and that our stories, research, and impact deserve a national platform.
Congratulations Dr. Tiffany Cole, PhD, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, PCCN, MEDSURG-BC
