The Impact Capacity Assessment Program (iCAP) is now accepting applications! This program provides nonprofits with an 8 to 10-month board-driven and team-based approach to strengthen their internal organizational capacity. Due to the rigor of the program, this program is geared toward staffed agencies (generally 5 FT or more).

iCAP provides an opportunity to work with an organizational development consultant, collectively assess your organization's strengths, and prioritize goals. This comprehensive approach involves identifying growth opportunities and crafting a capacity-building plan with measurable objectives, ultimately charting a clear and effective capacity strategy for your organization.

If your organization is making an impact in our local and regional food system and is interested in iCAP, please reach out today: https://wnyfoundation.org/capacitybuilding-1

We're excited to announce an evolution in our grantmaking approach, designed not only to build organizational capacity but also to lift up the vital work within our community and shine a spotlight on the importance of our food system. Moving forward, our commitment to capacity building will be exclusively directed towards organizations actively contributing to the resilience and justice of our local and regional food systems. This intentional direction is geared not only to deepen our impact but also to uplift and support the crucial efforts shaping our community's food landscape, with the ultimate goal of creating a thriving and equitable Western New York.
