Bring a canned or non-perishable food donation to the Buffalo CLC meeting on 11/18 at 1199 SEIU Upstate NY!

It is a time of uncertainty and growing need in WNY and our country, to say the least. With the longest government shutdown in our nation's history ongoing and The White House's continued attacks on life-and-death programs like SNAP, we will not stand by as workers, families, and children go hungry. Today we are launching the Western New York Area Labor Federation's Many Fights, One Table Food Drive & Fundraiser for Families Facing Hunger in WNY!

WNYALF.org/Hunger

Let us be clear: In the United States, the richest nation in history, no one should go hungry. Period.

The Labor Movement's greatest struggles have been defined by everyday people showing up to fight for one another and against the inhumanity and greed that starves us. Our solidarity has changed history and saved lives. This moment calls for nothing less.

However you can support—be it a food or monetary donation, sharing this campaign, or volunteering your time—it will make a difference for one of the more than 200,000 WNYers facing hunger as autumn turns to winter. With your help, we will fill plates that would have gone empty and continue our economic and political fight for a world where no worker or child knows the indignity of hunger.
