💜 SOUTH PARK HIGH SCHOOL FAMILIES — WE'RE HERE TO HELP!

Need diapers or training pants for a child under age 3? Every Bottom Covered may be able to help!

Through our partnership with the Buffalo Public Schools Family & Community Engagement Department, we're making diaper assistance more accessible through the Family Resource Center at South Park High School.

During our recent visit, EBC demonstrated what a typical diaper distribution looks like and shared information about the additional programs and services we offer to support individuals and families throughout our community.

👶 Eligible families can receive:
🍼 50 diapers OR 25 pull-ups every 30 days
💜 One pack of wipes per household, when available
👶 Support for children under age 3

📖✨ MORE THAN DIAPERS: TURNING LIVED EXPERIENCE INTO COMMUNITY CHANGE! 💜

On October 8th, our Founder and Executive Director, Raziya “Raz” Hill, had the opportunity to participate in Buffalo State University's Anne Frank Project (AFP) 2026: Where Change Begins – Living Library!

Unlike a traditional library, the Living Library invites participants to “borrow” human books, creating space for meaningful conversations with individuals from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.

📚 Raz's story, “More Than Diapers: Turning Lived Experience Into Community Change,” offered an opportunity to explore how personal experiences can become a driving force for advocacy, community engagement, and meaningful impact.

At Every Bottom Covered, our work has always been about more than providing diapers. It's about recognizing challenges, creating connections, addressing unmet needs, and helping families access the resources and support they deserve.

💜 When we share our stories, we create opportunities for understanding. When we listen to others, we create opportunities for change.

A special thank you to Buffalo State University's Anne Frank Project and E. H. Butler Library for creating a space where lived experiences are valued, conversations are encouraged, and differences become opportunities for connection.

💙 Caregiver Coverage has expanded to Wyoming County!

Every Bottom Covered is now accepting applications from Wyoming County caregivers and families who may need support with adult briefs or protective underwear, wipes, resource connections, and other caregiver support.

Eligible participants may receive monthly delivery directly to their door, making it easier to access needed supplies without having to travel.

Caregiver Coverage can also help connect families with:
✔️ Medicaid 1115 Waiver screening and support
✔️ Long-term support through Conduit Health
✔️ Information and referrals to community organizations and services in your area
✔️ Personal care essentials, as requested and based on availability

💜 Support doesn’t stop at age 3.

Every Bottom Covered is proud to partner with Conduit Health through our Beyond Three initiative to help families of children ages 3 and older access medically necessary incontinence supplies that may be covered by insurance and delivered directly to their homes.

Your child may qualify if they:
✔️ Are age 3 or older
✔️ Have Medicaid or qualifying insurance
✔️ Have a medical condition that requires incontinence supplies
Depending on eligibility and coverage, Conduit Health may be able to assist with youth protective underwear and pull-ups, briefs, under pads, ongoing monthly deliveries, and support navigating insurance and prescription requirements.

🎃 New and expecting moms and dads, you’re invited to our FREE Community Baby Shower! 💜

Join us Saturday, October 31, from 12–2 PM at the Frank Merriweather Library, 1324 Jefferson Avenue, Buffalo. Attendees will receive free diapers, wipes, and light refreshments, meet community organizations, and have a chance to trick-or-treat with our vendors. Costumes are welcome! 🍬

Our From the Womb Cohort 3 had another great session this past Saturday! 💜

Families participated in an interactive budgeting session with Rashawn Smalls of Square One Leadership Solutions LLC and enjoyed a live cooking demonstration with Rachel Laster of Real Life Dietetics + Consulting, bringing together practical conversations around budgeting, nutrition, and preparing healthy meals for growing families.

And we didn’t want the learning to stop when the workshop ended! Each participating family left with a grocery bag filled with ingredients to recreate the meal at home, along with resources and tools they can continue using beyond the session. 🛍️🥕🍽️

A huge thank you to our facilitators for sharing their time, knowledge, and expertise, and to our From the Womb families for showing up, asking questions, participating, and making the session so engaging.

We’re grateful to continue creating spaces where expecting families can learn, connect, and feel supported throughout their pregnancy journey. 💜

Lafayette High School students and families — if you’re in need of diapers or pull-ups for a child under age 3, Every Bottom Covered may be able to help. 💜

Through our partnership with the BPS Family & Community Engagement Department, we’re making diaper assistance more accessible through the Family Resource Center at Lafayette High School.

Eligible families can receive a monthly supplemental supply of 50 diapers or 25 pull-ups, along with wipes, for children in the household under age 3.

If you’re interested in receiving support, stop by the Family Resource Center at Lafayette High School to learn how to sign up.

Please note: to receive diapers through this location, you cannot already be enrolled to receive diapers through another Every Bottom Covered distribution location.

🚨Action needed: Speak up to ensure diapers and formula remain in Head Start.

A proposed federal rule would remove the requirement that Head Start programs provide diapers and formula to enrolled children during the program day. Diapers are a basic need — and removing this support would place added strain on families, Head Start programs, and community basic needs banks.

We need advocates, partners, families, and supporters to speak up and urge the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) to keep the current requirement that Head Start and Early Head Start programs provide diapers and formula to enrolled children during the program day.
