October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re recognizing the group that walked in this year’s Celebration of Hope Procession🩷

Leading the group as this year’s breast cancer flag bearer was Katie Duane.

Throughout her journey, Katie has found strength in knowledge and is grateful for her breast cancer team at Roswell Park, who have answered her questions with patience, clarity and compassion. She’s also learned that courage doesn’t mean being without fear — sometimes, it means learning how to move forward with it.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we honor the strength of patients, survivors, caregivers and loved ones, and we stand with everyone impacted by breast cancer. Thank you, Katie, for sharing your story and inspiring hope throughout our Ride Community.

At Pathways Park, we had the privilege of recognizing some of Ride for Roswell’s incredible all-time top fundraisers — Bernie Kuca, Mark Crotty, Neal Kreher, Monica Farnham, Joey Huber and Craig Alf — as this year’s newest inductees into this special group of dedicated riders.

Together, these six riders have raised more than $750,000 through Ride for Roswell, turning years of miles, memories and determination into lifesaving cancer research and compassionate patient care at Roswell Park.

Their induction this year celebrates not only an incredible fundraising milestone, but the lasting impact they’ve made by showing up for our mission year after year.

To Bernie, Mark, Monica, Joey and Craig: thank you for showing us what it means to keep showing up. We’re so grateful to have you as part of the Ride family💙

Myles Locke of Team Wheel Strong is our 2026 Top Youth Fundraiser, raising an incredible $4,470 for Roswell Park! After first earning the Top Youth Fundraiser honor in 2024, Myles returned this year to claim the title once again — just days after celebrating his 15th birthday! 🎉

Myles, your dedication to Ride and commitment to helping end cancer continue to inspire us. Thank you for showing us just how big of a difference one young rider can make💙

In honor of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, we’re highlighting the group that walked in this year’s Celebration of Hope Procession💛

Carrying the gold flag and representing our youngest patients was Hannah Koepsell.

Hannah was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic B-cell leukemia at 11 years old. After facing two relapses, she continues to show incredible strength and resilience. Today, she’s doing well and looking forward to getting back to the things she loves, including cheer and dance.

Thank you, Hannah, for carrying the gold flag in honor of all our pediatric patients and inspiring our Ride community! 💛🎗️

Chris Wilk has been named the Ride for Roswell Volunteer of the Year for 2026! A dedicated volunteer, Chris is always willing to step in wherever he’s needed and help make Ride Weekend special for everyone involved.

“I don’t do it for the award. I do it because it’s the right thing to do,” said Chris.
