ADHA’s commitment to inclusive care extends to every patient and professional, without exception. Dental hygienists serve patients from every background, identity, and lived experience. Creating a welcoming, affirming environment is a direct reflection of the ethical foundation of our profession. LGBTQ+ patients face documented barriers to healthcare access, and the hygienists who show up for them make a real difference. To our LGBTQ+ members and the communities you serve: we see you and we celebrate you this month.
