On Wednesday, November 19, we’ll gather at the historic Richardson Hotel in Buffalo for a half-day of inspiration, practical learning, and connection around this year’s theme: The Future We Build Today.

NEW for 2025: Optional Pre-Summit Workshops (9–11 AM) offer the opportunity to take a deeper dive into key sustainability and leadership topics before the main program begins.

Ticket Pricing: SBR members receive the exclusive reduced rate of $195 through the Summit. For non-members, there’s an early bird rate of $225 available until October 1. After that, tickets will be $275.

Building WNY’s Sustainable Workforce. Join SBR for a panel discussion and lunch on September 24th to learn how local workforce training programs are preparing talent, meeting employer needs, and growing the region’s sustainable workforce.

Attendees will hear directly from leaders shaping the region’s workforce about the skills being developed to meet business needs, the resources available to employers, and the ways businesses can engage in programs that strengthen hiring pipelines, grow talent, and build lasting partnerships.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last week for our volunteer River Clean Up at Thomas F. Higgins Park!

Together, with representation from 15+ member businesses and organizations, we rolled up our sleeves to clean up garbage along the river, care for the park, and help remove invasive species.

A special thank you goes out to our amazing partners who made this possible: the Erie County Parks Department for sharing the park’s history and providing supplies, Modern Disposal Services, Inc. for donating gloves, The Tool Library for lending grabbers, The Junkluggers for helping us haul everything away, and Stephen Gabris for capturing our efforts.

The SBR community is about action and connection, grounded in caring for the places we share and the work we do together.
