Year Two of AHEC Future Docs has officially begun! 🎉

On Friday, we welcomed 12 pre-med students at orientation, where they learned more about what the program has in store and the many opportunities they’ll have to help prepare them for medical school.

Throughout the program, students will complete MCAT test prep, shadow providers at Catholic Health, be paired with a mentor, and participate in various enrichment sessions to strengthen their medical school applications.

We can’t wait to see what these students accomplish! 📘🔬✏️

This week, our new program, Careers in Care, hosted its orientation!

Careers in Care is designed to support students pursuing healthcare degrees by helping ease the barriers they may face on their path to graduation. By investing in these students, we're also investing in the future of our community and strengthening the local healthcare workforce.
