Saluting the Polish Veterans of World War II in Buffalo, New York. The courage, patriotism, and valor of the Polish soldiers in World War II are legendary, but also very real. Polish resistance and action in the field rise from history and tower for the ages. At times they may have been outnumbered and outflanked, but their spirit was ever undaunted. Shoulder to shoulder they were critical to the victory of the Allies and an inspiration for generations to follow.

Here in Western New York and indeed throughout the United States their effective work and gallantry are dramatic gifts. May God reward the sacrifices of all who have gone before us and bless all with His ongoing graces.
