In honor of the 50th anniversary of the South Buffalo Dance Academy and the retirement of Director Eleanor Donovan Gilson, we’d like to share some memories of Erin through the years, and the lifelong friends she made at SBDA.

What an honor it was to participate in the 50th Anniversary of the South Buffalo Dance Academy and the retirement of owner and director Eleanor Donovan Gilson! South Buffalo Dance Academy, its staff and instructors played such a huge role in Erin’s life, from her first tap dance class at 3 years old until well into adulthood. She was such a natural dancer in any discipline, and truly felt at home at SBDA.

We are proud to present the latest Erin’s Smile Dance Scholarship to Violet Rodgers, a talented student with the same passion for dance as Erin. Congratulations to Eleanor and the entire SBDA family on 50 years, and thank you for everything you’ve done for the community!
