Some of these events are a one time deal, and some will occur weekly--make sure to read the description carefully. Each event has a host who can be contacted directly if you would like to RSVP, need more information, or just want to send some love.

Hi folks- we want to apologize for being a bit more sporadic with event posts and especially with updating the calendar. We're really shorthanded right now, but our main volunteers will have time again in a couple of weeks. If you would be interested in volunteering with social media or with submitting events, we'd love the help! We meet every third Wednesday at 8 at Plankton (126 Fargo)- that's the 17th this month. Ann Jarvis of Appalachia founded the precursor to Mother’s Day in 1858 to promote sanitation in response to high infant mortality. After the Civil War, abolitionist Julia Ward Howe made a Mother’s Day call to women to protest the carnage of war. There will be food trucks, hot dog carts and thousands of union and community members.
