“Я вам хочу одне сказати від народу з України, — звернувся Глава УГКЦ до українців у Нью-Йорку. — Україна зранена, але нескорена! […] Україна змучена, але стоїть і вистоїть! Повірте мені, нікому й на гадку не спадає здатися, навіть там, де сьогодні йдуть бойові дії — послухайте наших людей у Херсоні, Запоріжжі, Одесі, Харкові, Сумах! Бо ми знаємо, якщо Україна, не дай, Боже, була б хоча частково завойована — розшириться межа смерті. Всі ви бачили страшні кадри з Бучі. Це був лише вступ.
