Police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and EMS professionals regularly encounter traumatic events, respond to life-threatening emergencies, and work long, unpredictable hours. Over time, the demands of the job can take a personal toll.

Just as physical health is essential to performing the job safely, mental wellness plays an equally important role in helping first responders continue serving their communities.

Fall is here! Let’s use this season as an opportunity to prioritize home safety. With furnaces firing up and cooler temperatures arriving, be sure to test your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors while preparing your home for the season ahead.

The seasons continue to change, but the commitment of our first responders never does!
