πŸŽ‰ Victory Through Solidarity! ✊

After more than two long years of bargaining and standing strong against aggressive union-busting tactics, the members of UAW Local 677 Westport Axle have achieved a hard-fought victory!

The membership has overwhelmingly voted to ratify their Tentative Agreement with an incredible 92% approval vote. This result is a testament to the determination, unity, and strength of the membership who refused to back down and remained committed to securing a fair contract.

This victory belongs to every member who attended meetings, wore union gear, stood together, and stayed engaged throughout this challenging fight. When workers stand in solidarity and exercise their collective power, there is no limit to what can be achieved. This ratification proves that unity is our greatest strength and that workers are strongest when they stand together with one voice.

Congratulations to the members of Local 677 on this well-earned achievement! πŸ‘πŸ‘

πŸ“£ UAW Region 9 Update

This week, UAW Region 9 Director Jim Lakeman and Assistant Director Patrick Ashton had the opportunity to attend the retiree meetings for UAW Local 813 and UAW Local 757.

During the meetings, Lakeman and Ashton provided updates on activities and initiatives taking place across the region, listened to members' concerns, and thanked retirees for their continued involvement and dedication to our union.
