Look at what’s happening in our neighborhood! 🚶🏾‍♀️🚶‍♂️✨
When we did our walkthrough with the development and construction company before construction began , I made sure to ask about getting new, safer sidewalks for our community members, especially those walking over from E. Delavan. to William L Gaiter Parkway because of those spots just weren't safe. Something we have been advocating for since 2021. The answer was no😔

🌺Well, today it looks like those new sidewalks are finally on the way! It’s so wonderful to see these small, meaningful perks for our neighborhood, alongside the healthy food being provided for our Buffalo school kids. Small wins lead to big changes! 🏡🏢🍎

And if my memory serves me, we are getting a brand-new tree canopy🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳

Today, the Norfolk Ave Block Club #1 attended the Final Beam Ceremony and got to sign the final beam for the new Buffalo Public Schools Commissary before it will raised to its final spot. Talk about community pride! We were honored to be the first to sign. ✨🏫
