Sadly, the Goodwills in the WNY region are being curated by Amazon. The SallyAnns are struggling to stay afloat, maybe because they discriminate against people, just a thought. The Heart stores are building their brand, but their prices are often more than retail, so there's that. The Lockport thrift has closed, but Bear Bottom Wholesale is still open, let's hope they don't close. For a while, they had a guy working there who thought he was in retail, so we skipped that one for most of last year. The church 'mall' in NT has continued its downward spiral, at any given time a third of it is empty, another third has been sitting there for years, and the rest is often new as in DT new. Those kinds of problems come only from the top. Savers are both still open, the one south of Buffalo has illusions of grandeur, and the northtowns location priced things so high they sat there all winter. Read the room people.
