The only way q***r people have won is by fighting- in the courts and in the streets. This year it is more important than ever to show up for our LGBTQIA+ communities. Our trans brothers and sisters are being stripped of basic human rights, our communities attacked by violent rhetoric coming from our own government- we must stand as ONE.

We will NOT go back.

OCAB’s Endorsement Committee is officially ACTIVE! 💙🖤💛 🤍

We helped get Sean Ryan elected and now we’re running it back 🔄🤝✅

Join us for our initial political education sessions where we get into the nitty gritty of who candidates are, where they’ve been, and where they hope to go. We’ll get all the tea on campaign contributions, policy promises, and have the chance to ask candidates DIRECTLY their thoughts on the issues that matter most to YOU.

We will be officially endorsing candidates for NYS Assembly Seat 149 and NYS Senate District 61. We’ll discuss why these positions matter, what powers they hold and ultimately decide TOGETHER who we want to see in these seats.

Meetings will take place with our friends on the following dates:

Wednesday, May 27th @ 7PM
Friday, May 29th @ 7PM
Saturday, May 30th @ 7PM

Can’t make it in person? Don’t fret! These meetings are offered via Zoom as well!

It’s OUR city, and we have every right to it.

Four years after losing his mother in the 5/14 Tops Massacre, OCAB board member Mark Talley has a message for Buffalo — and it’s one this city needs to hear.

And BTPM NPR’s I’Jaz Ja’ciel is asking the question that goes with it: $91,256,623.56 was publicly announced in donations, allocations, and pledges after 5/14.
