IT'S OFFICIAL! Our biggest Harvest Fest ever is coming this Saturday, October 24th, from 11am - 3pm, at the Resource Council of WNY!

We're going BIGGER, BETTER, and adding MORE FUN to the Resource Council of WNY's 6th Annual Harvest Fest! We've added an extra hour, and we're pulling out all the stops!

The Buffalo Bills and Highmark Victory Table Food Truck is back with 700 meals, Fusion Dance Studio is bringing THRILLER to life, and we're packing the day with carnival games, Slime Fest, pumpkin decorating, face painting, character appearances, music, sweet treats, and so much more!

Plus, this year's Harvest Fest will feature our all new, SQUISHYVILLE, where we're giving away over 500 of the hottest squishy toys kids are going crazy for! From NeeDoh cubes to Mystery Dumplings and more, it's going to be Squishy Madness... all of this, while supplies last!

Admission is absolutely FREE. Kids 12 and younger are our special guests, and the entire family is welcome! For more info, call 716-783-8259.

Buffalo Fatherhood Initiative in partnership with the Community Action Organization HeadStart program....
Fall is here! And as the seasons change, so must we...for the better, for ourselves, for our families. But you have to make the decision. Can I man up to be all that my children and wife/partner need? Am I still teachable? Do I have the courage or need to express myself without fear of judgement?
The Nurturing Fathers Program (NFP) is a FREE evidence-based, culturally competent program designed to support men in building positive personal, parenting and relational skills. This is also a "safe space" to get support and encouragement.
🗓 Start Date: Thursday, 11/5
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

🥊The Buffalo Fatherhood Initiative and Coach Williams at the Bombsquad Academy will be back hosting (4) sessions in our FREE November 2026 Boxing Training Workshop series, 11/2, 11/12, 11/16 and 11/23. This is an opportunity for beginners to intermediate participants to engage in a high-energy, in-person class focusing on building strength, confidence, and discipline in a supportive environment.

1 in 4 Black men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Not to mention high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, mental health... you get the picture! We are disproportionately prone to all of these diseases and when diagnosed, have worse outcomes than others due to being diagnosed during the latter stages of the disease.

But it doesn't have to be this way! Most of these diseases can be successfully treated and in some cases eradicated... but early intervention is the key!

Come out and support our 2nd annual Health Fair! This is an opportunity to get screened for a myriad of health maladies that ravage our community, connect with needed service providers, and to fellowship one with the other in a safe and uplifting environment.

It's not just about u... it's about us!
