Everyone Builds. Everything Connects.

After months of pop-up events, the final piece of the 12th Man Mosaic Project has been placed.

The completed mosaic includes 2,304 individual squares. Students, teachers, veterans, hospital staff, social workers, families, public officials, LEGO fans, and people from across Western New York each contributed a piece to the finished project.

Thank you to everyone who participated, hosted an event, volunteered, or helped behind the scenes.

The build is complete.

The final image will be revealed soon.

Had the chance to add a few bricks to BuffaLUG's 12th Man Mosaic Project.

This community-built LEGO mosaic is coming together one piece at a time, and it was great to be part of it.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product at the big reveal. 🏈

Today, a piece of Buffalo’s future was built inside City Hall.

Mayor Sean M. Ryan and members of his staff joined The 12th Man Mosaic Project, adding their own squares to a community artwork that has brought together thousands of people from across Western New York.

As Buffalo prepares for a new era, this project has become a snapshot of the people who helped shape it. Neighbors, families, students, workers, visitors, community leaders, and now City Hall itself — all contributing to the same story.

Buffalo has always been built by the people who show up. Today was another chapter in that tradition.

The final public build event for The 12th Man Mosaic Project is here.

After weeks of community pop-ups, thousands of builders, and one massive story coming together square by square, we are down to the last public chance to be part of it.

This is more than a LEGO build. This is a moment in Buffalo history, created by the people who showed up, sat down, and added their piece to something bigger.

BREAKING: The Buffalo Sabres remembered it’s the playoffs and the entire city is now legally required to lose its mind for Game 7 against Montreal.

And honestly? There was no universe where we were scheduling a LEGO meeting against that.
